Our Story
Lemon & Lemonade began with two friends, Shaun and Mahmood, who share a passion for turning ordinary spaces into extraordinary homes.
It all started when both of them bought their own homes in Abu Dhabi, right next to each other. Like so many others, they found the same plain interiors repeated everywhere. But instead of settling, they saw potential. With better materials, smarter layouts, and personal touches, they transformed their houses into homes that felt truly theirs.
That experience sparked an idea: if they could do it for themselves, why not help others do the same?
At Lemon & Lemonade, every design begins with a belief that a home should reflect not only who you are, but how you live. Whether you have kids, pets, or a live-in helper. Whether you love to cook, work from home, or need a really big wardrobe. We don’t do copy-paste renovations, we shape the space around you and your lifestyle.
Your home should tell your story. We’re here to make it feel completely yours.
‘Shaun and Mahmood were reliable, easy to deal with, and always happy to help.’
‘We’re really happy with the work done on our home. Lemon & Lemonade carried out a major renovation for us, including a new kitchen, office and bar area, and everything went super smoothly from start to finish.
The quality of the work is excellent and the team’s attention to detail really stands out. From the planning stage to completion, Shaun and Mahmood were reliable, easy to deal with, and always happy to help with anything we needed - as well as dealing with any last minute thoughts or changes we had with patience and good humor!
What could have been a stressful process was incredibly easy and straightforward, and we’re delighted with how everything turned out. Our home was also left spotless. We’re planning to use the team again for more renovations and would definitely recommend them. Thanks Lemon & Lemonade!
